So apparently facebook started doing multi-school groups, and I
created a PCCSC group, although I called it PCIYRA because I like the
old acronym better. This will be useful for the sort of unofficial
banter that isn't suitable for the email list, as well as posting
regatta photos.
I went ahead and invited my teammates to join, but before we get
everyone else on there, I want to make all the other captains (or
some other form of team representatives) administrators so you can
approve your own teammates. I would just make it an open group, but
it seems like there are a lot of losers out there who have nothing
better to do then join facebook groups they have no affiliation
with. So if you're a captain, either send me an email or just search
for the group and request to join, and I'll make you an admin. We
have two captains here, so I'll take two captains/officers/
representatives/whatever from each team if you want.
Also, you guys might want to check out your collegesailing.org team
profiles, because a lot of them are hopelessly out of date. I wanted
to just email team captains for now, but most teams don't have
contact information that's been updated in the last two years.
