South sloops Elims October 13, 2006 Host: UC Irvine Site: Intercollegiate Sailing and Rowing Base. Schedule: Friday, October 13 9:30 Report Time 10:00 Skipper's meeting 11:30 First race Entries: South schools must notify by Oct. 10th with intent to sail. Equipment: Shields Sloops will be provided. Crew will be limited to three (including skipper). $50 per day charter will be charged for each team. Checks can be made to UC Regents. Directions to Base: >From the 405 or 5 Freeway, take the 55 South towards Newport Beach. 55 end and becomes Newport Blvd... Continue on Newport until ramp for PCH south. Take PCH south 1 mile and base will be on your right. Parking will be limited. After unloading passengers and gear, vehicles should be parked offsite. Park on the street along PCH or at the free city lot located near Tustin Ave. and PCH (apex 1/3 mile north of sail base, 10 minute walk).
