There have been a few updates to the NOR for Frosh Soph this coming weekend, Nov 4 and 5.
1) Though the title of the regatta probably took care of any question on the matter, it should be known that only freshman and sophomores are allowed to sail in this regatta. Freshman/Sophomore standing is not determined by class standing, but rather by number of semesters the sailor has registered eligibility with ICSA. In other words, any sailor who has registered for 4 semesters or less is eligible to sail in the regatta. Once again university determined class standing is unrelated to ICSA eligibility. Questions, please email me. 2) We will still be launching boats from Mission Bay Yacht Club, but the sailing venue has been relocated to Santa Clara point at the Mission Bay Aquatic Center, the same location as Women's Fall Champs in 2005. This is where we will be rotating the fleets from. You are welcome to launch boats there as well (it may be easier for some teams to do this to alleviate congestion at MBYC). Updated directions: Turn left on Santa Clara Point (the street before El Carmel). Any further questions please contact us. Thanks for your RSVP's, this should be a really fun regatta!
