RULES
The regatta will be governed by: the Racing Rules of Sailing, the ICSA
Procedural rules and the Sailing Instructions.
FORMAT & ELIGIBILITY
The regatta will be a 2-Division varsity and JV regatta. Each school may
enter one co-ed varsity, one women's varsity and unlimited JV teams.~
Schools are encouraged to enter as many teams as possible.

All PCCSC schools are eligible to attend. Please RSVP by February 8.
BOATS
Teams will race PCCSC-legal FJs to be provided by each team. Teams must
provide their own PCCSC legal FJ sails. A limited number of boats may be
available for charter.

LOCATION
Racing will take place in the vicinity of Wharf # 2 at the end of Figueroa
Street in Monterey. Wharf #2 is located at the Monterey Marina. Boats will
be launched from Del Monte beach east of Wharf #2. Be prepared to hand
trailer the boats across the beach. Rotations will also take place at Del
Monte Beach. 

Boat Storage
The Monterey Peninsula Yacht Club has agreed to allow us to store boats in
the MPYC dry boat yard. Boats will be stored on hand trailers and you must
provide your own hand trailers. 
Parking
Parking is limited and you should be prepared to pay. Parking permits may be
purchased from the Office of the Harbormaster as follows: Vehicle and
trailer $12.00/day or trailer only $8.00 per day. Be aware that these
permits are for the day and not for a 24-hour period. This means you may
have to pay for 2 days. There is some free parking on side streets in the
area but be careful. Some of the streets are limited to 2 hours while others
have no time limits.

You might also check in Marina, Sand City, Seaside, and Prunedale, all of
which are close to Monterey. There is a Motel 6 in both Marina and Monterey.
DIRECTIONS
>From highway 1 south, take exit 402B, Del Monte Avenue/Pacific Grove. This
will put you on Del Monte Ave heading toward Monterey. Stay on Del Monte for
approximately 1.6 miles and then turn right onto Figueora Street. Figueroa
Street is the 6th stoplight after getting onto Del Monte Ave. Just prior to
Figueroa Street you will pass 
>From Highway 1 North, take exit 401A, Aguajito Road. Turn left onto Aguajito
and go straight until the T intersection at Del Monte Ave. (The 3rd
stoplight). Turn left onto Del Monte, and go through 1 stoplight. The next
stoplight is Figueroa. Turn right onto Figueroa and look for parking.

Look for the registration table at the Monterey Peninsula Yacht Club. (The
brown building at the foot of Wharf # 2.)
