Attached and below are the current South Series Standings. Just as a
reminder only Regular and Provisional Member Schools are eligible for PCC's
and only the top five team from the South Qualify for PCC's. Teams must
also compete in both the North and South Designate Regattas.

In accordance with the PCCSC Standing Rules the following are the conditions
for the South Series and qualification for PCC's:
e) Dinghy Championships
(i) Qualifying PCCSC member schools in good standing may enter.
(ii) The top Regular or Provisional member finishers are eligible
for the ICSA / Gill Dinghy National Championship.
(iii) This event is to be alternated yearly between the Southern
Area and the Northern Area or Hawaii when a majority of the members agree.
(iv) This event is to be sailed in the month of May with special
regard to the National Championships.
(v) The date of the Championship, host school and site are to be
established at the time of the Annual meeting.
(vi) Fleet size shall be limited to eleven (11) berths. The Northern
and Southern Areas shall have five berths each. The University of Hawaii
shall receive an automatic berth.
(vii) The Southern Area and the Northern Area shall designate one
regatta each during the spring, and before the Dinghy Championships, in
which all schools shall compete in order to be eligible for the Dinghy
Championships. Each school must compete in all races, except when RRS Rule 4
applies, in both designated regattas to be eligible.
(viii) If for some reason either the Southern Area or Northern Area
fail to have five qualified schools, the other area may substitute for the
remaining berths.
