The fall season is quickly approaching and here are a few reminders. The fall schedule is posted online on the PCCSC website http://www.collegesailing.org/pciyra/ please check and confirm hosting duties with your school or partner associations. For teams hosting events, a Notice of Race needs to be sent out on the PCCSC Email List 4 weeks prior to the event. (Bryson Women's and Stoney Burke NOR's need to be out before Sept 15th). All sailors must be registered online before they may compete. Any team found to be sailing with an ineligible sailor will be disqualified from the races they competed in. Teams are only billed based on their membership level and not by the number of team members so make sure you register everyone on your team. It helps the PCCSC and ICSA get an accurate idea of the growth of college sailing. Our current billing schedule is as follows: $500 - Regular Member Schools $250 - Provisional Member Schools $150 - Associate Member Schools $50 - Out of Conference Intersectional Fee Bills are sent out around thanksgiving and are due January 1st. Teams will not be allowed to compete in any Spring Events until Dues are paid (starting with Rainbow Invite). Here is some information from ICSA about the individual directory: http://www.collegesailing.org/directory/individual/ . Registration with the ICSA Individual Directory is mandatory to be eligible for inter-collegiate competition. Sailors must also "indicate eligibility" for the current season. . If you are a sailor who has already registered and you want to indicate eligibility to sail in the Spring 2008 season, go to your listing page (by searching for your last name or school roster) and click "Edit Listing" at the bottom of your personal page. Then, use the first edit option labeled "Indicate eligibility for the current season Fall 2008." . Please note that if you have registered for the first time and are not showing up on your team's roster then your directory administrator probably has not yet approved you as a member of your team.
