Unfortunately there were no races run during either day of the south 4 this weekend. Saturday had great breeze but the combination of heavy rain and tsunami-driven harbor currents made sailing unsafe, particularly at the rotation site. Teams arrived early for Sunday to try to make up the lost time, but an 8 foot swell had filled in overnight. This again made the sail out of the harbor a dangerous proposition. After towing the fleet to the race course, two races were started. Neither race could be completed in the fluky wind and extreme wave action. Thanks to Glennon for his help keeping things safe, and to the sailors for their patience.
