Well, we must be getting close to the end of the season when the remaining events are all designates and championships. It's been a great season so far, I've heard lots of good things about the new North/South Series formats with the Team Race and Fleet Race Scrimmages mixed in there. Sounds like more team racing can only be a good thing for our group. We will continue to tweak the spring schedule some more for the 2011 season so any feedback is appreciated, good or bad.
Couple of news items before we get to business 1. Remember to nominate sailor of the week, send your nominations to John Vandemoer ASAP!!! [email protected] 2. We will have an informal PCCSC Meeting the Saturday night of St. Francis. This is not a voting meeting, we just want to have a discussion with the conference since we will not have a full group in Hawaii for the ExComm Meeting scheduled for the Dinghy Champs. There is a proposal up about expanding the spring conference coed championships to allow more teams and create a longer season and we want the groups opinion before we vote. 3. Still need bids for 2011 Spring Championship hosts!!! We have one for the Cal State Team Race but we need on for Women's and TR PCC's. Now on to our remaining events. Since these are bigger in turn out we really need your help for planning. A few of you have already told me this information but for my own sanity please do it again. Coed: Women: PCCSC Team Race Championships @ Stanford April 10-11 (all Regular and Provisional Member Schools are eligible, top team(s) go on to ICSA TR Nationals) STAN, UCI, UCSB, USC.
