Hello,
Really glad that we have a 1.0 release, finally.
Andriy even documented most libfm APIs.
So now API docs are available in devhelp format.
Later other developers can utilize this library to add file
managerment facilities to other programs as well.
This, however, is not the best part of it.

A less advertised but powerful feature of libfm 1.0 is full custom
action support.
I did it earlier and supported DES-EMA spec.
See this: http://www.nautilus-actions.org/?q=node/377/

There are some existing scripts/extensions for nautilus and thunar.

With custom action support, we can port them to pcmanfm/libfm now.
Anyone wants to try it? You don't need to be familiar with programming.
Simply porting these scripts to DES-EMA format and they'll be
available in pcmanfm/libfm immediately.
Having the ability to use shell scripts and write several config files
is enough.

I'm now working secretly on lxpanel2 and there are some progress about
multi-monitor support lately. :-)
(Don't worry. I'll port existing plugins to it once it's finished so
work done in the old lxpanel won't be lost.)
Andriy is doing some great job with libfm now and preparing for 1.0.1.
So, help is needed to get these existing user scripts working with libfm.

Anyone?
