Hi there,

I have added a (maybe even "the") missing wallpaper mode to pcmanfm.
[.......]

The improvement itself is OK to have but I don't think the 'crop' is
appropriate word. May be 'span' or another word is more appropriate.
And also 1.1.0 version is released long time ago so such change may
go only into 1.2.0 version which will be not around for quite some time.
Just be patient, please. Thank you very much.

     Andriy.

Alright, thanks for reviewing. I found that in Xubuntu ( Xfce) this mode is called "Zoom" (it's even the default behaviour with big images when on "Auto"). So maybe this would be a choice. Spontaniously I would think "Span" is not a good choice. Because it's not really "spanning" anything. It's more the opposite, it's being cut off (cropped). With span I think one would rather think about covering or including a whole thing. But maybe some native speaker can judge that better.

Some other ideas would be "Cut", "Cutout", "Clip", "Clipped", "Reduce"...

Btw. "Crop" is a very common term for exactly that operation on images.
