I cannot find any option to force this check here: http://developer.apple.com/library/Mac/#documentation/Darwin/Reference/ManPages/man1/gcc.1.html But I read somewhere that if you enter to a system function, it checks the stack alignment. Perhaps calling a random() at the start of do_searchovector() could do the trick. If not I don't really have any idea.
