I would concur and suggest that instructions on how to build in different
environments should be pointed to from the main page. A small minority of us
does actually work outside of unix/linux world and reference to other sorts of
builds should not be hidden.
I've noticed that a lot of the discussion on this email list is about minutea
points in this or that build which is fine and important, but I would say that
it supports the need of un-hiding the subject.
