This issue has caused me to realize that the docs in 8.44 imply it is still
being maintained. Therefore, I am shortly going to put out a new release, 8.45,
which will be documented as the final PCRE1 release. I have taken the
opportunity to fix a few small issues, including this bug. I think your
MATCH_KETRPOS patch is the correct one; at least it doesn't break any of the
tests. Note that JIT matching was getting this correct already.
