*Note: * Thanks to all who helped with this project last week and it was
really nice to see some old faces. It was almost like the meetings at
Harris Hall again. We weren't able to get the job done, lots of problems
with my old laptop but mostly I guess you need a partitioned hard drive to
install the dual boot. Since, I have upgraded my 256 RAM to 1 Gig and I've
installed an updated BIOS. About partitioning the hard drive, it will take
me forever to do XP reinstall and partition the hard drive but I've figured
out a work around. I do have a (still in it's package) hard drive and I'm
hopping that we can just set up the dual boot and install Ubuntu at an
upcoming meeting. Then I will have plenty of time to reinstall XP. I
won't be able to do it at tomorrow's meeting though.

*** With any luck Larry will be installing Ubuntu (the most downloaded
Linux OS for desktops) on my old Windows laptop. Come and see if he can
make it live again. He says it will dual boot and the old Windows files
will be available in both OS's.
