 Good morning,

My problems with the range extender continued after I brought it to the
meeting and we thought we had it fixed. I had another very positive
experience with Costco and their return policy so I thought I'd pass it
along. A few weeks ago I called Linksys but they said the warranty had
expired so it would cost me like a million dollars for help with no
guaranty that they could help. Yesterday after many many more tries to get
it to work I called Costco's Concierge Service. Nice guy, wanted to help
but it became pretty obvious pretty quick that he didn't even know what a
range extender was. Finally he offered to connect me with the
manufacturer's tech support but I passed.

So, after that I'm off to buy a new one but just in case I pack up the old
one to see if Costco would take it back. They said I bought it in March of
2016. Boy time flies, I was telling everyone maybe 4 or 5 months ago.
Anyway, Costco took it back, no questions asked. In fact it was so easy I
had to ask. He said they have taken back an awful lot of them and then he
suggest I try... the other brand which I can't think of right now. Not
wanting to fight my way over to Gateway I decided to try another of the
Linksys models they have.

One point I wanted to make was that the new model is several generations
newer than the old one.

Brought it home and it set up just fine.

Happy Holidays,

John
