I have a combo PCI soundcard/56K modem (Asound Link) with current drivers installed. Mounted on a Tyan 1590AT mb with K62-500 cpu. The modem keeps the line active even when not in use. I have tried to use AT&F in the modem advanced properties, but this has not helped. After disconnecting from the ISP, my line remains busy :( This has not always been the case with internet use, but using an included program to record off the phone line has always kept the line open after use as well. I can send the log file to anyone that contacts me directly, and feels that they can help to solve this for me. I just do not want to clog the list with extra bytes.
