Thanks Peter, I don't think they want to get another board at
this time. I ran that URL
http://www.kupler.de/ga586ats/ga586ats.htm through a
translator page and it worked pretty well. And unfortunately
this is something the customer would not know how to do!
<laughs> (soldering, volt reg change, adding resistors,
etc).
Great page though if anyone needs some pages translated
(English, Spanish, German, French, Portuguese & Italian...to
and from either).

Are you saying that you WERE able to put a 233 MMX on this
board when you had it?
Thanks again,
-Clint

Clint, I once had one of these models but I was able to
upgrade to the 233
MMX but I have this link
http://www.kupler.de/ga586ats/ga586ats.htm (the
page is in frames and doesn't load correctly so look for the
ga586 link
about half way down the page) and if you can translate German
it will be of
great help as this guy performed an upgrade to a K6-2 366 if
my translator
is working properly, it's crude and leaves a lot to be
desired. I ran your
Chinese help page through and basically only got the line to
upgrade to the
version 1.32 bios, as to what that will give you will have to
try and find
out. Or buy a new board. HTH
