I have been using an encryption and hidden file system for some personal
files on a Laptop. Then I had a problem which entailed me removing the
encryption system. In theory the files should have become visible but
in fact did not. I have gone through a whole series of things to remove
the encryption programme. I will be using it again if I can resolve
this problem.

Problem the hidden encrypted files did not become visible again.

I don't want my computer holding hefty files that I no longer need so I
would like to remove them or at least be able to access them..

There is no need to go into details about uninstalling I have pursued
that avenue pretty thoroughly.

PROBLEM

I think the problem maybe the checkpoint system in Windows ME.

I may have an idea but I still don't know what to do about it. I have
Windows ME installed and this automatically creates check points. I
suspect that the location C:\PQSC\CPS\000080\NEW\ where my hidden
encrypted files seem to exist maybe checkpoint files. Because I notice
many other of my files are in there and I can't open them from within
that file area either.

It is my intention to remove the encrypted files and hopefully start
again Can any one help?
