Viveca,
I have a Beta-2 copy of XP that I installed a few weeks ago
and with my system there are so many incompatibles
starting with my DSL Ethernet Adapter, and my new
MSI K7T Turbo Motherboard which has advanced features that
are not recognized by XP, but work perfectly with WinMe,
and there is a host of other incompatibilities due to the
programs and drivers.
When you install XP, your IE & OE will be upgraded to IE6, which
I am running without any problems, but I removed XP as
soon as I was aware that it will-not work with my Ethernet
Adapter.
Personally, I wouldn't mess with XP if you have a relative new
system and components.
XP will have to come a long way before I give up WinMe for it.
