For those having problems getting a new IE window to open full size, try this: Go to START>RUN>regedit Look for: HKEY_CURRENT_USER>Software>Microsoft>Internet Explorer>Document Windows> You should see the registry string in the right pane, Maximized = "no" Change the "no" to "yes" and exit out of regedit. This should change to window back to full size. Another tip is to make a short cut from the IE icon on your desk top. Right click on the new shortcut, and go to properties and in the " RUN" drop down menu, choose Maximized. Then either delete the first IE icon (it will not go to the recycle bin, it gets permanently deleted), or drag it into your task bar and only use the new shortcut to open IE.
