You can go to the device manager and look at the properties
for each device and USUALLY change them there in those
"tab'd" areas. Mine is 'grayed out' on my PC because I have
only one HD hooked up, BUT, if there are two, there may then
be user selectable the way CDROM, CDRW, Zip and other drives
are.

I am about to add a Ultra ATA bus card and a second hard
drive to my system.
I am also going to install a Sony DVD drive I had lying
around. That will
mean I have the original hard drive, a CD-Rom, a Zip Drive,
an USB external
Sony CD Burner, a Flash Card reader, the second hard drive
and the DVD. I
have a feeling that Win98SE will just tack on drive letters
making the
second hard drive F or what ever.....

Is there a way to manually re-arrange the drive letters
without doing a
complete Windows installation? I would like the hard drive C
and D and then
be able to have the Zip Drive, CD's and DVD's start at E and
be in an order
that I choose......
