If you are using win98/Me/2000 then you can turn on Active Desktop and by
using the single click option you can web enable your computer and all of
it's folders and files. Turn on the address bar in the taskbar to help
with this too. But please bear in mind that this is an enormous resource
hog with a lot of bugs, plus it doesn't work well on systems with less than
128 mb ram or slow hard drives (128 to 256k buffer with less than 5400 rpm
spin rates). The Active Desktop is an extension of windows explorer so you
can't really get away from using the explorer, IE is just the "Internet"
spin on windows explorer too.
