Do NOT post these things to the list without verification!!
This is a hoax and now, when members read your email below,
and do it, you will have really messed up their computers!
(won't be able to read files with long file names). It is
supposed to be in the 'command' folder. This was posted
earlier today, as was the hoax information.

It was on my machine and is not there anymore !

OK Guys, I don't know who I got it from and I don't know when
so I just have
to let everyone know so that I don't feel guilty that I was
the cause of a
hard drive failure. I would certainly hate that having
experienced it myself
not so long ago. It doesn't matter how many virus protectors
you have on
your machine - they get even cleverer. Now they cant even be
detected and
don't become active until months later. Someone passed the
information onto
me and on checking it - of course I found that I did indeed
have it so have
since removed it.
Now you must all do the same. I have emailing everyone coz I
don't know
when it got in so better to be safe than sorry and REALLY
SORRY about that.
I do not know how long it has been on my computer, but no
Virus software can
detect it. It will become active on 1 June 2001. It might be
too late by
then. It wipes out all files and folders on the hard drive.
This virus
travels thru E-mail and migrates to the 'C:\windows\command'
folder.
To find it and get rid of it off of your computer, do the
following.
 Go to the "START" button.

   Go to "FIND" or "SEARCH"

   Go to "FILES & FOLDERS"

Make sure the find box is searching the "C:" drive.

   Type in; SULFNBK.EXE

   Begin search.

If it finds it, highlight it.

Go to 'File' and delete it.

   Close the find Dialog box

   Open the Recycle Bin

Find the file and delete it from the Recycle bin

   You should be safe.

The bad part is: You need to contact everyone you have sent
ANY E-mail to
in the past few months. Many major companies have found this
virus on their
computers. Please help your friends !!!!!!!!

Do not rely on your anti-virus software. McAfee and Norton
cannot detect
it because it does not become a virus until June 1st.
Whatever you do, do not open the file!!!

Cheers!!!
