Folder maybe? A folder (directory) will contain multiple downloaded files. I
don't know why any one would want to download a file and have it be the same
name as a previously downloaded file.
Create a Folder (directory) for downloads, say C:\Downloads
For Internet Explorer
Fire up regedit and go to this key
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer
Look to see if a Value name called "Download Directory" exists.
If so, edit the data Value to be say C:\Downloads (the directory where
downloads will go)
If it doesn't exist, create it (Edit -- New -- String Value)
For Netscape
Fire up regedit and go to this key
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Netscape\Netscape Navigator\Main
Look to see if a Value name called "Default Save Dir" exists.
If so, edit the data Value to be say C:\Downloads (the directory where
downloads will go)
If it doesn't exist, create it (Edit -- New -- String Value)
