I have a hotmail account that opens in my Inbox. I am nearly certain that in the past it has opened in the maximized size but for quite some time it has been opening in the restore size. Once opened, I can move to Maximum, Full Screen and Minimum with no trouble. I have not been able to find any way to get it to open maximized.
