When you run RegEdit (the registry editor) the screen is divided into two
panes. The left side contains expanding folders listing the "keys" and the
right-hand pane contains Name (value name) and Data (value data) pairs.
To delete (remove) a key or value
1. Find the key or value you want to delete (in the left pane) or by using
Edit -- Find . You do not need to open it (that is, double click on it).
2. Right-click the key or value, and then click Delete.
