I'll stick with with Pentium III and newer. I'll add including AMD. I''ve
seen both
184-pin RAMBUS RDRAM RIMM and 184-pin DDR SDRAM DIMM specified.
The 184 pin RIMM is used on motherboards using the Intel i820/i840 chipsets.
DDR memory started being used in 266MHz FSB motherboards for both AMD Athlon
and Intel Pentium III based systems. Most of the newer AMD Duron and
Thunderbird 266 series board also support DDR.
(ASUS -A7 266 series, IWIL KA266, ABIT K7, MSI K7, etc.)
