Hi All,
Got a stumper. My Mother-in-laws computer (200mmx Win95) has lost it's
serial mouse. Windows does not recognize any mouse on the boot. I checked
Device Manager and all serial ports seem fine, had her get a new mouse,
didn't work but when she took it back they tried it and it worked fine. It
has always been a ps2 mouse with a serial adapter so she got a new adapter,
still didn't work. Then I removed it from the device manager and added it in
new hardware, now it says device not working properly. I have removed the
comm ports in device manager and when I reboot they reinstall just fine so I
assume the hardware is fine.
Any ideas? Anything would be appreciated!
