Ann......here's McAfee's information on this.....the reason your friend's
McAfee didn't detect and clean it is becuz he/she obviously does not have
the latest McAfee dat files....he/she needs to download them from
McAfee....if McAfee was kept up to date, he/she would not have this problem:

Hi all
I have a friend that has the W32.Magistr.24876@ mm v#rus on his system
(windows 98). I had received an email from him with the attachment
migrate.exe. My Norton A/V program had caught this as it came in, but his
McAfee didn't catch it.
We can find removal instructions for Norton, but he has McAfee Can anyone
point us in the right direction for removing this v*rus?
Your help would be appreciated.
