This is a real surprise! I thought most antiv*rus programs required that
they be the ONLY one to be present on any one machine! If I remember
rightly,
InoculatIt specified something of this kind when I downloaded it.
I run Macafee on one machine and InoculatIt on two others, but have not
dared to install a second AV program on any machine :-( I have downloaded
AVG
and want to try it out, but got cold feet after some GHASTLY
experiences with McAfee on one of our school machines (it became corrupted,
demanded an uninstall which then screwed up the Registry - after myriad
attempts at repair the only solution was a complete HD reformat). Norton may
be OK, but I found it slowed down my machine terribly when I tried it.

Are there any special guidelines for running more than one AV program?
