A hot CPU can cause a number of problems.  Its very possible that the
CPU fan has failed. (mine did and the temperatures were similar).  Take
the  hood off, and connect the keyboard, mouse and monitor and start it
up to see if the cpu fan is running.  I bet that its not running or not
running at full speed.  With a hot cpu, I had a number of anomalies and
it took a while to figure out. Fortunately, my Bios gave me an error
about the fan speed which directed me to locat the problem.
