In a multi-user setup icons to shortcuts wil sometimes be duplicated in the
users personal folder within the C:\WINDOWS\PROFILES folder.
1026 error can occur if you do not have enough disk space on the drive that
contains the Temporary Internet Files folder. See
http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q208/0/82.ASP
http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q180/6/80.ASP
Depending upon file associations, the duplicate could refer to a data file
and not the program file. Right-click on each and select Properties to see
if they are the same. If not, delete the data file shortcut and change you
file associations to prevent duplication in the future.
