A simple way to test the integrity of MP3 files is to load them
into the standard Windows Media Player. If the player refuses to
play them, or crashes (perhaps putting the whole system down),
then the MP3 file has definitely lost its integrity. Perhaps 
somebody tampered with it of some unclear reason.
