You need to add the statement to SYSTEM.INI in the [386Enh] section.
To do this:
Start -- Run. Type in SYSEDIT and press enter.
Click on "system.ini" window to bring it to the front.
Use scroll bars to scroll down to [386Enh] section
Add the statement at the bottom, i.e., MinSPs=8
Click File and choose Save
Shutdown and Restart the computer
NOTE: MinSPs setting must be in multiples of two (4, 8, 12, etc.)
