Yes it could be infected due to those that continue to post in
HTML format to their respective lists.  But, it could be other
things causing the active x warning to pop up.  Depending on
what the security settings are set to in OE, when you receive
certain types of HTML email (even if it is 'clean') you could
get the alert even for active x controls marked as 'safe', IF
you have them set high enough.  If norton is not going off,
then it is probably just an active x control.....BUT, I seem to
remember about a year ago when the kak worm was going around,
your version of norton never 'went off', all you received was
that active x warning that you describe now.
