Hi all,

As a result of a recent mishap I have changed my diary system to Sidekick
98. However I wanted to make sure that I had a good back up system,

First of all I followed the procedure to back up directly on to a networked
laptop. When I tried to restore all I could get was an old version of
Sidekick 98 Calendar that I had prevously tried.

I then made a copy of the original on a CD but when I tried to access it I
kept getting the message that I required the owners permission. I had no
trouble accessing the CD from my Desk computer and getting the updated
version of my data.

I uninstalled everything to do with Sidekick from the Laptop using the
normal uninstall plus a bit of extra cleaning up.

I noticed there were lots of tmp file with 0kb in the Sidekick userdata
file.

I then reinstalled still to no avail.

I would be grateful for any ideas.
