Indirectly, yes. Set up a hosts file and direct the IP address of CNET back
to the local host (i.e., use the "loopback" address).

Do a File Find and search for "hosts.*" The ".sam" in  C:\WINDOWS is a
sample and is not the cause of problems. Only a "hosts" without a file
extension.

BTW, the IP addresses forwww.cnet.com are:
Addresses: 64.124.237.133, 64.124.237.134, 64.124.237.135, 64.124.237.128
64.124.237.129, 64.124.237.130, 64.124.237.131, 64.124.237.132
