Indirectly, yes. Set up a hosts file and direct the IP address of CNET back to the local host (i.e., use the "loopback" address). Do a File Find and search for "hosts.*" The ".sam" in C:\WINDOWS is a sample and is not the cause of problems. Only a "hosts" without a file extension.
