Hi Ted,
According to Spy Checker, MSBB.EXE is a file that is "secretly" installed 
on your system (and in your registry) by a company called Web3000.  It is 
Adware.  You can read about it here,

Just do a search for MSBB.EXE

You did the right thing by getting rid of it, but make sure that the 
program you installed along with it will still run.  If not, then you need 
to get rid of that program as well.

There is a program called Ad-Aware which is handy for this type of 
thing.  I believe you can find it at : www.lavasoftUSA.com
