Regarding my question about a desktop hard disk to a laptop, the hard disk of my laptop got damaged and I found out that a laptop hard disk is much more expensive than the conventional desktop hard disk. So, I thought, that can a desktop hard disk be used. If I could just find out the pin configuration of the laptop hard disk connection, I could devise a cable so that I can connect it to my laptop. When I say hard disk, I mean can I make the desktop hard disk a bootable one in my laptop.
