I recently suffered a setback when a laptop bought just twelve months ago
for 2,000 approx $3,000 failed to start up.

I contacted the supplier Tiny of the UK knowing that I was three days out of
warranty. I went round in a complete circle of of high priced telephone
calls, 6 in all. At all times I kept my cool and was incredibly courteous.
But the end result was "tough you are three days out of warranty".

Went round to my favourite local back street shop. Left it with him,
knowing I could trust his judgement I didn't ask the price. But expected it
to cost a lot. Returned next day Laptop fixed, no charge.

Long live local dealers.

Just thought I would share this with you.
