I have just bought a used Gateway, PentiumII,300mhz,128mhz ram, running Windows 98SE. The printer port reports a code 15 error which says that IRQ 07 is being used by the modem. Is it safe to remove the printer port, reboot and let Windows rededect it? Also, how can I tell which devices are using which com ports? TIA
