Click Start>Run, type in regedit and go to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\explorer\Advanc
ed
On the right hand side for the Advanced key, create a new String value named
"StartMenuScrollPrograms"(without the quotes)
Then double click it and type false in the value data field.

And that's it - exit the registry and reboot. The 98 menus should now break
into new columns when they become too long - like in 95. No more need to
scroll.
