Hi, I'd recommnend a simple utility like Dupeless from PC Mag.
It's for Win 98, only 400kb, free, and is excellent for finding duplicate
files on your system.
It lets you scan your whole system and lists all duplicates.You also have
scan options - ie
- find different versions of the same file (same name)
- find copies of the same file (same name and size)
- find  identical copies of the same file (same name, size, and contents)
