Hi Markit's the html coding in the web page that Word is trying to interpret and not getting it right....try copying the text into Notepad or another text editor, then copy it from there into Word and the spacing should be better....of course, you will then have to add formatting and color, etc.
Word 2000 does a better job with html than Word 97 Linda Linda's Computer Stop http://www.personal-computer-tutor.com/ Editor, ABC ~ All 'Bout Computers http://www.personal-computer-tutor.com/ABC.htm Online Instructor, Eclectic Academy http://www.eclecticacademy.com/index.htm -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Mark Fraleigh Sent: Monday, November 05, 2001 10:13 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: PCWorks: Word-97 Hi everyone, I have a problem with Word-97 i think. When I copy a section of text from a web page and paste it into a word page it does not show up properly. An example below: The lines of text are broken and then there is a large space and then only part of the next line is given then the next part of the line is below that. I am not explaining it very well but maybe the example will help. I have Win-95 Word -97 and use netscape 4.08. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanking you in advance.
