Hi Markit's the html coding in the web page that Word is trying to interpret
and not getting it right....try copying the text into Notepad or another
text editor, then copy it from there into Word and the spacing should be
better....of course, you will then have to add formatting and color, etc.

Word 2000 does a better job with html than Word 97

 Hi everyone,
  I have a problem with Word-97 i think. When I copy a section of text from
a web page and paste it into a word page it does not show up properly. An
example below:  The lines of text are broken and  then there is a large
space and then only part of the next line is given then the next part of
the line is below that. I am not explaining it very well but maybe the
example will help. I have Win-95  Word -97  and use netscape 4.08. Any
information would be greatly appreciated. Thanking you in advance.
