Both of them are great. I like the z51 better because it holds two cartridges, saving me the trouble of swapping between color & b/w. My son gave me an Epson Color 400, which he said was great but he couldn't stand the noise. The Lexmarks are quiet (good for us night-owls). (BTW, the best price I've found for Lexmark cartridges is Walmart, at around $28, vs. about $35 list.)
