Subject: PCWorks: Agentsvr - What is it?

Howdy (I remember someone else always saying "Howdy" - If it's annoying
anyone, tell me, and I'll stop)

There's something new I've observed in my "Close Program" window
(Ctrl/Alt/Del). I know that whenever I logged into the Internet, a new
line would develop called Rnaap. It belongs there and stands for Remote
Network Access Application.

But I recently noticed something new upon logging on, a line called
Agentsvr. It's a file found in my Windows directory: C:\Windows\MSAgent.
I don't mind it being there; just what happened that I never saw it
before?

I did recently install Office2000 Premium if that is of any help for you
in answering my question. It's almost 770MB and I neither need it all
nor know how to use it all; but that's something else (I might just use
disk #1, and even there, only Excel and Word). Programs like this you
begin to appreciate what Bill is giving the world and maybe deserves
what the world has given him. Eventually he'll be giving most of it back
in charities, that's nice.

I looked up Agentsvr in Google and found many references, but nothing
really answering my question (or maybe it's too technical for me).
.
Thank you .... Harold B.
