Hi group, have a problem with a client who gave me his computer to add a new
20GB hard drive. Added drive, "Ghosted" old drive to new and all was fine.
Delivered to client and got all kinds of error messages,( Explorer.exe, VXD
errors, each time I restarted I got a different message!). Decided only
difference between his hardware and mine was a Microsoft Sidewinder USB
joystick. Disconnected and all was perfect, reconnected and all was error
messages. Checked that drivers were all OK and updated DirectX to ver 7.
Anyone seen this before?
Computer is MSI M\B 6156 with Pentium 3 667+64MB . Voodoo 3, Creative 128,
Motorola 56 Modem, and Windows 98 SE
