I've asked the list about this before but I'd like to try to get another viewpoint.
Whenever I pull up a picture on the internet it is very dark. As an example, when I go to a weather site the radar picture is so dark that I can't make out the green radar echoes very well. I was told by the list to brighten my monitor but it is brightened to the point that all my regular page colors are "washed out". This seems to be only on internet pages or jpegs that are opened in MS Photoshop. When I open a jpeg I can then adjust the brightness level in Photoshop so that it is a good, clear picture. It seems to me that there must be some kind of default setting that needs to be tweaked. Any ideas?
