Ed,
This sounds close to what I want I think :-).  The difference is that the 
new master drive will be neither larger nor faster than the original master 
drive.  I tried using Partition Magic to shove the win2k partition up a 
little but the partitions are locked some how, so I'm faced with installing 
an older, slower, and smaller drive as the master.  I need to install win98 
with IE 4 for testing purposes as one client is using this setup for their 
office desktop image, they don't want to upgrade due to costs at this 
time.  If my other system hadn't melted I wouldn't be juggling all this but 
it did so I get to either play with the configuration or do a complete 
reinstall this weekend.
