Peter!  I'm confused.  What does user data persistence file have anything 
to do with XP?  The whole concept started with IE 5.0 and is completely 
browser dependent as I understand it. that would mean that if IE 6.0 is the 
default browser in XP then the user data persistence ability is controlled 
from the options section of IE.

If I am talking out of my hat let me know.
